  • To identify the homeless youth and single mothers and the destitute so as to facilitate their relocation in appropriate institutions
  • To provide food and medical aid to the youth and single mothers so as to ensure their social well- being
  • To assist in the process of social integration and personal realization for youth and single mother’s children through study scholarships

Membership & Target

As per today, the program boosts a total of 1840 Youths/Single mothers aged between 16-35 years. We hope to have trained and equipped 20,000 Youth/Single mothers with different skills by year 2025

Program Coverage

ZOE is currently operating in city slums of Kampala and Wakiso like; Natete-mabito, Nansana, Kalerwe, Kabowa, Busega-kibumbilo, Namungona and Nakulabye. We expect to extend our operations in all other slums in cities/towns around Uganda

Program design

Our programs are designed on a replication basis. We target to develop skills of youth/singles mothers who will then become change agents in their communities. Also, youth/single mothers who are successfully trained are seen off with a capitalization package of tools/machine and a small financial to help start their own businesses. Through our monitoring, the Youth/single mothers who are given these packages are encouraged to work and buy their own machines and initial ones are given out to other incoming youth/single mothers.
