ZOE Mentorship Organization (ZMO) is a Christian based fully registered indigenous nonprofit organization founded by Dorcas Asasiira (Child of Fallen Comrade; Late Nathan Ngozoire RA00398) in 2009 with a major objective of transforming living conditions in Uganda’s poorest slum areas by empowering youth and Single mothers (formerly prostitutes) through skills development and economic empowerment programs. Having been established in 2009, the organization straight away started the mobilization process of its targeted members and by year 2011, the organization membership had grown to atleast 200

The group mobilized consisted of mainly prostitutes,drug addicts and criminal characters. Because of their background, the group had to be subjected to areform program in 2011. A patriotism camp was held at Nakifuma and over 200 youth were in attendance for a period of one week. The camp helped to promote patriotism amongst the Youth/Single mothers and nurtured them to a new beginning in their lives. The camp was graced by different speakers including Her Excellency the First Lady Mama Janet Museveni, Arch Bishop of the Church of Uganda Stephen Kazimba, Grand Mufti Sheikh Shaban Mubaje, Bishop Joshua Lwere, Afande Hassan Kasingye for community policing, Gen. However, even with such a ground breaking activity, the organization still struggled to run its programs due to lack of resources. It was not until February,2021 when Dorcas (Director ZMO) met with the team from German led by mama Gaby who later introduced another team from Switzerland led by Mama Elfi together oversaw the actual launch of the organization operations.
